On the evening of March 31 band, choir, theatre and art students were all involved in the presentation of the Collage Concert. Three art students painted on stage while the band, choir and theatre students performed. These 3 paintings were then auctioned off as a fund raiser for the art department. See the completed paintings below and thanks Kristina Ledezma, Shelby Ratliff and Jenn Coles! March brought a new trimester and new classes. This trimester classes are fundamentals, drawing, painting and photography.

Painting has learned about Fauvism and have created portraits that express and adjective that relates to a specific poem or song lyric.

Advanced painting students are working on watercolor technique books and watercolor paintings.

Drawing class has been learning about how to set up a still-life and draw from observation. They have been working with plumb lines, line weight and value.

Advanced drawing learned about Salvador Dali and Surrealism and are creating surreal compositions.
