January we finished up 1st semester.
Painting 1 had to paint a pet portrait, most worked from photos of their own animals.

Paint 2 worked on a headline piece which had to depict was the newspaper article was about.

Printmaking finished up their last process.

Photo created photograms in the darkroom, using small objects.

They also toned photos in blue, sepia, and copper

Projects were completed using their photos.

Below is the toning process.

Fundamentals made clay gargoyles or grotesques,

and then painted them with watercolor paints.

The last project in fundo was a city in two point perspective.

Art club painted cafeteria and office windows with winter scenes, wishfull thinking!
