November/December 2011

Fundamentals started November out with contour line drawings and human proportion
Then they used their skills to create paper cut outs of people in action.

The end of the month we started painting. First was a color wheel. They learned how to mix colors and blend tints into hues and hues into shades.
After the color wheel they created a radial design painting using all of their new skills.

Printmaking broke into three groups. The first group created etchings as seen above.

The second group created thermo fax silkscreens.
The last group did stencil silkscreens, using contact paper.

Painting one finished their still-life series paintings. Then moved on to landscapes.

Painting 2 finished their watercolor landscapes and started painting with oil paints. They painted Georgia O'Keeffe inspired flowers.

Photo has finished their black and white prints and digital and is now working on extra projects like the photo weave and color addition.

Some finished black and white prints.

We developed our last roll of film early November.
