It is a new semester with new classes: Fundo, Sculpture I & II, Drawing I, II, III, &IV
Sculpture I started thier paddle pinch pots.
After being smoke fired, the pinch pots were waxed and buffed to make them shiny.
Sculpture II had to use creativity in creating a teapot...
Sculpture I started inlay vases.
After they were fired, students add color by glazing, using 4 techniques:
Rub off, sgraffito, layered detail and watercolor
Advanced Drawing had to do several observational projects.
Then they started more elaborate drawing pieces: Trompe L'oiel, foolery of the eye
Drawing I also did an observational project; they had the option of drawing hands, shoes, bones, or stuffed animals and worked with pencil shading techniques.

Drawing I had to draw fruit with colored pencil using the glazing technique to make it look realistic.
They also shaded eggs.
Fundo created fun environments from their shaded form drawings.
Art Club and Drawing classes were given homework to design a new Google logo for the Doodle for Google contest.
